Hello,
Welcome. I am presenting a way of thought that stops me from lusting. I am a single man, and I hope the simplicity of this presentation will be easy to modify with the help of the Holy Spirit for your unique life.
When temptation causes intimate feelings in me, I think "marriage before intimate feelings," and I imagine God is watching me with gentleness and hope that I will bless his original design of marriage at Genesis 2:18-24, Matthew 5:27-28, and Matthew 19:4-12.
God is so good to us. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. He is merciful. He talks about that in Isaiah 55:7-9. Also, God said in John 16:12-13 that although he had many things to say to his disciples that they could not bear yet, the Holy Spirit was going to come and guide them into all truth.
